Prior to any surgical procedure your pet will receive a complete physical examination and pre-anesthetic blood analysis. During surgery your pet will be continually monitored with the same techniques used in human medicine. IV fluids are always given during surgery to support blood pressure and help the body cope with the stress of anesthesia and surgery. Your pet will have an IV catheter in place, so that we may administer any drugs needed for any anesthetic complication that may arise. Your pet will receive proactive pain management and close monitoring for immediate detection of any postoperative complications.
